HASTA › Learn › Triangle on the Palm: What It Means
Palmistry · हस्तरेखा
A triangle is three independent lines forming a clear, closed three-sided figure — not an accidental crossing. Wherever it appears, tradition reads it as calculated mastery of that mount's domain: on Mercury, an aptitude for science, healing or diplomacy; on Saturn, an aptitude for the occult or philosophic mind; on Jupiter, diplomatic and tactical leadership; on Apollo, calculated artistic success.
Beyond the small aptitude-mark, palmistry also reads two larger triangular fields on the palm itself. The Great Triangle, bounded by the Life, Head and Fate lines, reads — when large and clean — as breadth of mind, generosity and a steady nerve; small and cramped, it reads as a more careful, less risk-taking nature. The Money Triangle (Dhan Trikona), formed where the Head, Fate and Mercury lines meet, is read separately and specifically for wealth-holding capacity: closed and large signals strong saving capacity, while a broken or open triangle signals wealth that tends to leak away.
